Once my Maverick arrives I'll be picking up the drop-in bed liner. Looks very nice with 'Maverick' stamped into it.
I ordered my rollover without a liner with the intentions of adding the DIBL.
I have seen the videos and saw one in a Maverick locally.
I think it is good looking and functional liner option.
Fortunately right after I placed my order the dealer told me my 2022 was scheduled so I am getting the SIBL.

There is a one piece bed liner. It is manufactured by Penta. The same company that manufactures the Ford 5 piece liner.

I wonder that myself....$60 seems a bargain. I would expect the normal shop rate to be at least that per hour and likely more. And it certainly looks like more than one hour of labor. But as a mechanic I'm both slow and not very good. I should know in a week if the cost is more.
I looked at them online. A local truck accessory business is a dealer for them. I decided on the Ford modular DIBL because I liked that it was embossed "FORD". Not the greatest reason I suppose.....

No issues at all with the drop in liner, keeps the bed from getting scratched, easy to slide things in and out, and was factory installed. Water runs out through the grooves and keeps things essentially dry with a cover on.

Great video! That answered my question and more, and yes, it does look great.
I talked to the tech who installed my Ford modular and I'm pretty sure he said it was 9 pieces. I wonder if he was counting pieces of tape, etc. that appears to be part of the installation process? Also, he said it takes about 20 minutes for the install. I waited for the install and wasn't watching the clock, but that seems about right.
I decided do go for the Ford modular DIBL. FordPartsPros has it for $305 plus about $27 shipping, no tax. I like the look and will install it myself.
My concern about drop ins is the water that gets trapped under it. Then the plastic rubs against the paint and rust. I am in western NY and rust is a concern. I have seen youtube videos on some saying they had no rust to other videos showing rust under the drop in when they removed it on video. Don't look at f150 unless its older ta a 2015 as they were aluminum since 2015.
I may use that brush on bed liner stuff as its pretty cheap (40 bucks a gallon) FIRST then use drop in liner.

It is possible that there is 9 pieces in total.
I was just referring to the plastic liner itself which is 5 pieces compared to the traditional drop liner which is one piece (2 pieces counting a tailgate liner).
