Did my oil for the second time at 5k, changed the PTU and RDU oils too.
All the plugs did seem on the loose side, RDU took around 600 ml, lower plug had some metallic dust if you wan to call it that, same for the PTU, PTU took just 350 ml, If you ask me I put in more than came out but it was just my impression.
Next one will be at the 10k mark at that time will do the transmission too.
Was wondering if I should let the dealer do one, next one, just to have it in their records for possible warranty needs in the future.
By the way two nights ago it told me it was going to download the new software for the trailer towing recall at 0100, next day everything was almost normal, radio was in AM mode.
Not to open Pandoras box but it will be Mobil One 5w30, original filter every 5k. Even if the meter say I'm at 52%.
I did buy the 8 years 100k extended from Grainger, even if I live in Florida. But I had to go in person. made for a nice return trip.
Thanks for the people posting the videos it really helps.

You can enter your own maintenance records thru the Ford App, or online on the Ford web (easier to do here, IMO..), and it becomes "official" record for your truck.

The app doesn't seem to let you enter your own maintenance anymore, I just tried last week. Worked fine for the couple I did on my '25 last year. I found something somewhere saying they dropped support for that from the app but you could still do it on the website so that is what I did.

Thanks for that, I did it on the web page.

You can still do it on the app, but it's a little more hidden now. Open app >> tap wrench icon in lower right >> scroll down to "Service Planner" >> tap "recent history" >> scroll down a little further to see "+ add service record"

Keep all your receipts. Mine stay in a file all dated and mileage logged, all meticulously placed in order.
The whole mess goes in an envelope in the glove box when I sell or trade it in, After the dealer sees it. I met a guy who bought my trade in once. He appreciated the paperwork.

FYI - If you're Canadian you won't find the ability to update the service history via the app OR ford.ca. However, if you log in to ford.com, you can update the records and it then pulls across to your service history @ ford.ca and the app.

That's what I used to do, have you tried actually hitting the "Add Service Record" button recently? I just get a "Something went wrong" error now.

That's interesting. Yes, I just entered a record two weeks ago. Maybe the app has an upgrade pending that hasn't installed on your phone yet?

Dunno, I did an oil change last week and ran into this issue. I'm running 6.13.0. What happens if you push the button now? Does it actually let you enter something?

I also have v6.13.0 on Apple IOS, currently no update available.
Just tried and was able to get to the point that I could create a service record.

I checked my "Ford app" and in Service history page = You have no records at this time (service performed at participating Ford dealers will appear here once they are processed. And no "button" or place - way to add info .
Maybe because I am in Canada or just not able in this version of the app.
Have Ford version = 6.13.0
