Tuttle Click in Orange County, their commercial office, has treated me great on two truck purchases over the last 18 months. Ordered both, no surprises, exactly as stated, and fast in and out at pickup.
I believe a 2.5 inch lift would be enough to change the angle of the CV joint from the ideal engineered angle and cause accelerated wear issues. I would be surprised if the warranty on the axle related components is not voided.
Is it common for Mavericks to have front end problems?
Agree. In fact before this thread I have only heard of “death wobble”, AKA “tank slapper” in the motorcycle world.
I agree that what the OP has been told sounds fishy. Title issues? Has truck been previously damaged? But having said that, it feels rude to me for many here to basically be...
Wife has a Crosstrek plug in hybrid, which gets about same mpg as my Mav, son has a WRX, both daughters have Crosstreks (one 2.0, one 2.5). All adult kids. So that is 4 subis in the family.
Bet that BMW is a sweet bike.
I was 5’11” 235lbs a couple of years ago when I had a killer (literally, they had to jump start me 3 times) heart attack. Lost some heart function, so can’t eat much sodium, means no bread, cheese, processed meats, so dropped 60ish lbs. Death is a great...
I also have some additional random hybrid questions.
1 Is there anyway to make Eco mode the default. Mpg seems a bit better in Eco.
2 Apple CarPlay never works anymore. It did the first few weeks, at least intermittent. I have tried different cables, including an Apple branded USB C...
On the half ton pickups I have owned, they are driven by two or three man crews plus about 1000 lbs of gear all the time, they need a full brake job once a year (20,000 miles) costing about $1,000. One the ford powerboost (hybrid similar to maverick hybrid) with regenerative brakes, the truck...
Up until about 2012 a base model club cab full size pickup with an auto trans and V8 was about the best bang for the buck and very reliable. You could give them to a work crew who would beat the hell out of them for 12-15 years and 220,000 miles, rinse and repeat. Ford, Chevy & Dodge all...
Yeah, I admit I am confused. My 2023 order, a Lariat Black Appearance hybrid, which is on the way to the dealer right now, was 36,250+/-.
I just built the same truck on the 2024 website, and it came in at 37,375. +/-.
I believe Ford has played around with the Lux and the 360+ packages, so the...
The F150 Powerboost I bought last year for a survey crew will likely pay for itself ($3,500 option) based on brakes alone. The truck is basically always maxed out, and my experience with both Ford and Chevy full size trucks is $1,000 a year in brakes, about every 20,000 miles, no brakes needed...
I’ve got a Cyber Orange Lariet on order with the Black Appearance Package. I am a Land Surveyor and figure it’s a good survey related color. The city of LA uses the same color for their survey trucks.;)
