I have 900 miles on my 24 Mav and loving her! I've taken my time and slowly added or replaced things here and there (no offense but I am passing on an Air Horn and the twin stacks in the Bed).....but have added:

No, the tailgate applique actually has a little quarter side cut out below the camera so the slightly raised profile does not interfere!

You need the plastic piece around the trailer hitch, I don't remember the part number, there are threads on here about it.
Really dresses up that area.
Your tailgate looks good with the applique.
Wouldn't show up on my shadow black though. :cwl:

Hmm, haven’t read enough about it, looks like a shock absorber upside down….the tailgate is much lighter than my old Frontier and F-150… I figure it’s good for the triceps…plus I have an adage about wine…when the clerk ask if I need help out…i say if I can’t carry it I shouldn’t be allowed to drink it and so following, if I can’t lift it I shouldn’t be driving it..right?

It's more for safety as it may not see like it could cause problems but a tailgate slamming on a kids head or hitting your kneecap on the way down...it can be serious....

How about some window deflectors ? It's nice to be able to roll the windows down a bit when it's raining and not get all wet.

Actually, I lucked out and suggested this to another Maverick owner because every time I looked it was out of stock…
Maybe it was serendipitous but I but a Mabett center console organizer in my cart and on a lark went to their store using the link, searched for flares and viola, one set there, but it in my cart, paid quickly and kept my fingers crossed! The arrived 3 days later.
