What did you have before your maverick?

I still drive a 2005 F150 to haul garbage, lumber, gravel, etc. I drive a 2018 F250 for work, Pitt County Sheriff's Office.

2013 Fusion Hybrid. Great gas mileage and a capable vehicle for 90% of my driving. I feel like my dealer lowballed me on the trade in.

I had a 2015 Fusion SE and I absolutely loved that car.. It had all the options, 2.0 EB, Paddle Shifters, Heated/Cool seats, BLIS, Lane Keep, Adaptive, moon roof, premium sound etc. It's one car I regret getting rid of.

I previously drove F-150 supercrews. For a 4 month stint I drove a Ranger crew cab. Wife’s arthritis was first caused us to switch rides. After my 1st Maverick I wouldn’t go back. Now we own two hybrid Lariats.

A 2002 E-150 XLT Traveller, bought new.

At about 220k, something went and it tore a hole through the oil pan and block!

There was an interim attempt to purchase a '98 Deville, followed by a family '98 F-150 which needs to go back (and after it came, they finally came up with the title to the deville and I ended up with it for a project for $1k).

So once the maverick shows up, the F-150 goes on for my nephew learn to drive.

Love seeing all of the full size truck responses. My fear since ordering my 2025 is that I will end up missing having a larger truck with nicer features after a few months of owning the Mav. Hopefully the 40 mpg helps with that!

If you get a Hybrid and don't like it, just trade it in or sell it to CarVANA. You'll likely get back what you paid for it - or very close. But with the excellent mileage, I doubt you'll want to part with it. In 20k miles of driving, the worst mileage I've gotten on a tank of gas has never been less than 40mpg. And I will never buy another vehicle without an eCVT. Best & smoothest transmission I've ever owned!

2006 Nissan Frontier XE King Cab 2.5l 4cy 2WD 5spd. 2024 Mav arrived in 1/2024, sold this Frontier a few months later, 5/2024. So barely 6 months ago, but it seems like a truck I owned a lifetime ago.

Took excellent care of it and did some nice OEM+ additions despite it being a real stripped down model. However, it had the 2.5L Gen1 engine (changed to Gen2 for the 2007 model year), so it was always a bit of a dog and always consumed a bit more oil than I thought it should have...
