I have Maverickitis and was wondering if you got an email saying " Your vehicle is now scheduled to be built the week of March 6, 2023." Just to put a date on the calendar. When should this old man start to get excited? What does the forum think?

I would expect delivery in early April. You may get moved up or back a week, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Expect to have your build date pushed back at least 4 times. Late May/Early June delivery.

Feel free to get excited any time you’d like! Having a build date is a good thing.

However, as you will have seen here already, experiences vary widely when it comes to reliability of build dates and how long it takes for the truck to get shipped to your dealership (and to you) once built.

Our XLT EcoBoost is allegedly on a train somewhere, on its way east:
  • BUILT: 12/01/2023
  • ORIGINAL DELIVERY ETA: Between 1/1/2023 and 1/7:2023.
  • SHIPPED: 01/02/2023
  • UPDATED ETA: 2/12 to 2/18/3023. (Email with this news rec’d 1/10/23)

So in our case, something caused a shipping delay of more than a month. Could have been the holidays.

Anyway, about three more weeks now. Maybe. We have been getting floor mats, bed mat, tonneau cover, console bin, tailgate letters, in anticipation.

In early December my build date was set as 1/2/23. It was moved once to week of 1/9/23. Built on 1/12/23..

Got an email to expect delivery between 1/31/23 and 2/6/23. Looks like it still has not shipped. Use that data as needed.

Edit - well what do you know. My status now shows shipped.

My Bronco Sport (built in the same factory) was scheduled in December for the week of January 9th. Got moved to week of January 2nd. Actually built on the 9th and left the factory on the 12th. It arrived at Salt Lake City rail yard yesterday the 23rd. It has yet to be unloaded and still has to wait for a truck to haul it 5 hours to my dealership. Original estimated ETA was 2/01-2/07. So far I've not received any emails changing that.

Basically I'd figure at least 3-4 weeks from the day it's built at least. Maybe more. Could be more, could be less.
