Agreed. My hybrid at 75-80 gets 34 mpg.So highway mileage you are getting 8 mpgs better than rated while going faster than the test they run? Doesn't make sense with laws of aerodynamics.

Hybrid real world 60 MPH, is as good as 45 MPG in fair weather. (No heat or A/C used).I don't think any Maverick, regardless of engine is going to get real world 40 MPG driving 80 MPH. Maybe at a steady 60 MPH...maybe.
Nice mpg numbers! We’re you doing the trip on the Wildpeak AT3 tires I see? What size tire you running ?This Summer went from Tn. To las Vegas To Ca. All on interstate 40 this trip . In my 22 XLT Hybrid . Ran from 65 MPH to 85 MPH . My Maverick loved 67 to 69 MPH . It got 42 to 44 MPH ON THE ROAD !!!! Tires 35 PSI 1700 MILES on Truck and new oil Mobil 1 full synthetic 0/20 and filter . At 70 and above down to 34 to 32 MPH . At 5 00 $ a gallon I slowed down .
No one inferred that you should buy a vehicle based on those results. It was a observation, nothing more. But that's a ridiculous statement.
(About the Camry)
Buy a car that gets better gas MPG in 1% of the time, or buy a car that gets better MPG 99% of the time?
Yes on the Wildpeaks AT 3 when I got my Maverick they had those crappy Continentals on them . My wife's 2019 Jeep Cherokee had those cheap crappy Continentals on it also got rid of them at 11, 000 miles gave them to my dealer and got Wildpeaks for her Jeep . Also had Wildpeaks on my Chevy Z71 Silverado. Took off those Continentals at 400 miles and put set of Wildpeaks 235/65-17s on my Maverick love them . The Continentals were 225/65-17s No difference at all going a size bigger on my XLT Hybrid. I would recommend Wildpeaks to anybody . Have had them in All weather conditions . Just the Facts and my experience.Nice mpg numbers! We’re you doing the trip on the Wildpeak AT3 tires I see? What size tire you running ?
