DIY collapsible bed storage unit

Hey, here is a bed accessory I made to keep certain cargo from getting damp in the bed if the tonneau cover leaks.

Many covers leak in the corners, so I made a collapsible central storage unit that can be easily stowed when you need the bed for other things.

I keep kayaking close in the bed. I have two plastic bins with snap on tops. Keeps everything completely dry. I guess for big stuff what you made is good. Mine tri fold hard cover only leaks near hatch area. None in farther

I like it. I’m thinking about something similar. I haul 5 gallon buckets that weigh 60 pounds each, once or twice a week. Anywhere from 3-6 of them. Right now I just toss them in and rope them off. The spray on bed liner should be done this week and the tri-fold hard top is already here.

Damn .. pictures are worth 1,000 words .... and they cause light bulbs to come on.
I'm slow ... but i get it now that I can "see" it (the use case).
