Curious to see what the herd thinks of this roll bar

I could use a set of steelies for winter tires myself. Maybe one day I'll be able to break down and buy a set

Shop around. I bought mine for $300 with 2 good tires. I did have to swap the TPMS to '24-up frequency. I kind of wanted Bronco Sport aluminum wheels, but seeing the abuse I give these and they stay good as new makes me glad that I stuck with steel.

I like the look of your sports bar, it is different and stands out in the crowd. The sports bar is not new, I have had the keko sports bar on my maverick for 3+ years and still enjoy how it looks.

Does this bar create any issues opening the bed cover?. The cover looks like mine and my bows roll up with my cover. Just wondered if it hits the rails or fits under them while rolling it open. Thank you.

What if... You added the front facing light that goes on the top of the wind shield and the trail lights to give it a more off road look with the roll bar. I'm just thinking why go halfway.

Yes it is more difficult to roll up. I roll the tonneau cover on an angle, the straps click in and everything works fine together.

If the bar is more for looks than function, why not also consider a roll-down cover?

I'm not sure what you mean by roll down cover but I purchased my tonneau cover first then sports bar. I removed my tonneau cover then installed the sports bar and reinstalled the tonneau cover. Both were easy installs.

In service nearly 12 months and at 33,800mi. Daily commute is 104mi. No big change in mpg with sport bar and roll up bed cover. Tires, speed and temperature seem to have the most affect on mpg.

Factory tires with no load or accessories could hit 46mpg. I carry lots of tools and equipment on AT tires at highway speeds: (70 to 80) The back seat and bed are full at present and I'm getting 30mpg. Compare this to any of my trucks getting 16 to 18mpg at best. Towing mpg is decent at the max load at 20 or so as it depends on the speed and aerodynamics. Overall I'm pleased with the truck though it has glitches daily. I'm considering dropping it off at FORD for repair next week or so.

I'm actually extremely impressed with those numbers. That's awesome, and people want a tote that these aren't real trucks, they are just in a fun sized package
