I just saw the supercharger.
I'll beat "Pointyears" offer. I'll give you $5,000.
All kidding aside.. I'm not a Jeep person, but that thing is beautiful.
I would be proud to own it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'll do $5,500 cash

I am Central Ohio. Definitely appears that our region is elevated for whatever reason, currently.
I ordered an XLT back in '22 and then almost a year later changed my mind and ordered a Lariat , it was still over 6 months before I received my XLT. A few months after I received the XLT the Lariat came in and the dealer lowballed me so I went to Carvana and they offered me 3k more than I paid for it. I took the offer to the Ford dealer and they offered me $2k more than I paid and I took it. That was in '23, my first Maverick took 16 months to get to me and it was stressful as they canceled my order in December and "converted" me to a '23 a week later. How long does it take now to get a Maverick?

I appreciate that offer but I couldn't go that low I still used it as a beach Jeep for now - Utah is absolutely amazing I really enjoyed my outdoor experiences when I was there I completely understand why people live there…

As someone that buys second-hand vehicles partly to save money, threads on this topic give me anxiety. I'm just anticipating that I'll end up buying a new one if the cost delta between used and new remains nearly nonexistent.
You can order one brand new from Granger Ford for 3% under invoice. Makes these used prices even more ridiculous.

The dealer in Flagstaff AZ had about 10 on the lot around Thanksgiving.
The tuuck I wanted wasn't at any dealers I could find online at the time, but one landed at a more remote dealership the day I was looking and they had exactly the vehicle I wanted the next day.
So how long - 24 hours.
Things may have changed, as hybrids seem to be in much greater demand due to gas prices.

Back in '22 there were none on the lot but I found one somewhere, drove it and ordered one. Sales monkey told me a month so okay. I had my car sold and waited and heard excuse after excuse. Was like that for everyone that ordered a Mav. Took over 16 months. 10 on the lot, wow.

Things changed a lot from the early Mav days apparently.
I think it also depends on the trim level / options you wanted.
At the dealer I bought from, they had mostly EB's and only 2 hybrids, both XLT's, one AWD and no tow package vehicles. No Lobos, Tremors or XLTs with Lux were there.

Like I said, at the time XL hybrids were hard to find, let alone with one with AWD and 4K tow.
Actually, when I told the salesman what I wanted, it was like I was asking for him to find me a unicorn.
It was just great timing that my salesman found the XL AWD Hybrid with 4K tow in the color I wanted that had just been delivered to a dealer that same morning that was 200 miles away.

Had I gone looking a day later someone else would likely be driving it.

I ordered a 2023 as soon as they opened the order banks. It never got picked up for build so my order rolled over into 2024. As a result i lost my color (Area 51). I finally did get mine december 2023, so almost a 15 month wait.

That's my back-pocket option if there's no good used inventory by the time I pay off my current truck in 3ish years. I chatted with another member on here, also a California resident, who purchased from Long MacArthur on two separate occasions and flew there and drove them back. He said it went well and would recommend it to others. Couldn't imagine Granger being much different except being 3 more driving hours further east.

I bought mine for about $27k out the door a year ago during the "employee pricing".
If I was offered $27k by Carvana, or even $28k, I don't know if I would take it. The main reason being: what am I going to replace it with? A new one for $31k (if I'm lucky; probably more like $33-34k for an XT hybrid)? If they offered me $30k for some reason I might accept.

The White House foreign war adventures have driven up fuel prices, and the financial instability since Feb 2025 has sent interest rates up, and these lower-priced (comparatively) 45mpg thangs are highly sought after.
