FYI if a chip or crack is less than a half inch and not right in line of sight (driver or cameras) you could repair it yourself for $20. Safelite or the like can, too-
Kits are available at any auto parts store for injecting glue to hold the glass together so cracks don't spread.
I repaired a chip on a Subaru in 2014 and it is still fine, even after living in upstate NY (cold and reheat in the sun very often) and in GA (HOT) a couple years each.
