400 WATT INVERTER OUTLET MISSING IN TRUCK BED

Aloha when I ordered my truck back in June of last year And added the inverter it said there was a plug in the cab and in the bed but when I received my XLT last week the plug was missing from the bed, anybody else have the same complaint

Are you a lux package or no? I am a non-lux XLT with inverter and I don’t think I have the bed outlet.

We just have the cab plug.

As alluded to, if you order the 400W inverter option it's only for the cab. You only get the bed inverter outlet via Luxury Package.

Back when I was building my truck next to the inverter is a circle with a exclamation point and it said comes with in the cab outlet and one in the bed, So I ordered it thinking I would get one in the bed also but now it only shows cab only unless you spend $2500 for the Lux package So no outlet in the bed

Build & Price site currently indicates that the standalone 110V/400W outlet option only includes the outlet in the cab, not the bed.

Order guide from August shows the same.

Not sure what you saw previously but as mentioned above, you'd have needed the XLT Luxury Package to get the bed outlet.

Well once again this goes back to June 21 2021 2 weeks after the revile on June 8th and it said comes with in the cab and bed. But some time after that they decided if wan to get the bed outlet you had to Pony up $2500. So my question is still did anybody else have the same Issue with Ford deleting the bed plug from your order

That's your belief that's not supported by any documentation, unless you can produce it. Whether you choose to accept that you misremember or not.

All available documentation, including the 06/08/2021 order guide shown above, indicates that nothing has changed - the standalone inverter gets the cab outlet only, while XLT Luxury Package gets an outlet in the bed.

Yeah, I would have liked that, too. You could always do what I did and use the pre-wired 12v in the bed to add an outlet.

I just added a 12v/USB combo plug. With a little enginuity, you could probably get something that's either the same or maybe better than you expected.

yes, I ordered an outlet in the bed -and the XLT package. I remember paying extra for it, but i only have one in the cab. A friend told me that her son has a Maverick with the outlet in the cab and bed - so i dont know - i am going to look that up.

I pulled the siderails from my old Maverick and added them to my new Maverick. I should have also stripped the invertor.

Question can you get a picture and more importantly did he add the Lux package to his XLT if so that might explain why he has a 110 outlet in the bed
