Happy with EcoBoost mileage!

Over the course of 13.2K miles, I've averaged 26.7 MPG on a 2022 EB AWD Maverick. My common highway mileage is typically in the 32-34 MPG range. My best ever mileage (39 MPG) on a single 20-mile run came from a 2-lane county road with no traffic lights, no stop signs, and a 55MPH speed limit with no traffic to speak of.

EB AWD... Drove about 700 highway miles yesterday and saw 29 when I set the cruise at 70. More like 27 at 75-80. No complaints. 400 miles on a tank seems pretty easy.

Around town it is more like 24, but I tend to use the rightmost pedal to express my feelings rather than the horn or my fingers.

I was just looking at mine. Did 31 MPG doing 75 on the interstate with a 4K. Full tanks of gas are almost hitting the "500 miles remaining" point.

I am at 6k miles on my 6 months old Mav. (ecoboost)
Was not able to get more than 24 MPG yet.

When your foot is plugging the air intake the engine can't breath.

Interesting... I am not an aggressive driver.
Even watching the real time consumption on the dashboard, I cannot make it go over 23mpg combined.
Lots of folks here on this forum reporting most of the time around 30mpg combined on the Ecoboost.
Maybe some engines are a little more thirsty than the majority. 🫤

I think the maverick ecoboost is the fastest truck,off the line. Is there a faster truck off the jump ?

I LOVE the gas mileage I get on my 22 Ecoboost AWD. I get 24 in the city and 37 on the highway. Its amazing!

I tend to drive a little aggressively, so I mostly get around 22-23 mpg in my XLT FX4 with Falken Wildpeaks. My daily drive is a mix of about 40 percent hwy and 60 percent city. I'm happy with that mpg as my vehicle before owing Mavericks was a Ford Ecosport 1.0L and it only got 24-25 on the same daily drive.
