Siri Shortcuts for Start / Stop / Unlock / Lock & More Commands Work!

Only works for the US App Store FordPass app according to the developer

Yesterday, I saw a reddit thread that the Siri shortcuts were working again on iPhones and Apple watches.

Functions include:
Start my Car
Turn off my Car
Lock my Car
Unlock my Car
Whats my Car Odometer?
Whats my Cars Oil Life?
Wheres my Car?

I purged the old versions I had used and installed the new shortcuts following the reddit thread. I entered my FordPass email address, FordPass password, and VIN number in during the installation of the first shortcut. After installing all the shortcuts, I manually activated the Start my Car shortcut (pushed the tile) and granted permission to run and voila... Maverick started. Followed up with Turn off my Car which also worked.

Will test verbally later today.

My Ford pass stopped working months ago and it’s all because of an update that won’t update. lol nice Ford.
This was something I was trying to figure out. Now that someone has… I can’t do it. lol just my luck.

My iPhone ford app is not working due to password not recognized. Bummer.
Wonder if I just leave the iPhone in the truck and shout... unlock my doors it could work as well. Had a scare last week the doors locked my phone inside with the keys too.

Thank you for the detailed post! Just installed all of the shortcuts and they work great! I just have to mentally convert KM to miles. Haha

Very cool thanks! All verbal commands work for me, but if I wanted to change “car” to “truck” would I just change the title of the shortcut and Siri would take that as the new verbal command?

Install all of these, Make sure you install the first 4 in order. also the first shortcut is critical as you have to insert your login details and VIN number correctly for it to work.

After installing everything, I manually initiated each Siri shortcut on my phone to allow permission and hand-offs between shortcuts. Then I tested each shortcut verbally on my phone.

Tip: since the Siri shortcuts piggyback FordPass, you are still limited to two remote starts without physically starting/stopping your vehicle.

Prerequisites:
Apple iPhone.
Shortcuts app (via iOS app store if not preinstalled).
Within your phone's web browser (or MTC mobile app), navigate to this thread.
You should see the URLs for each Shortcut script (hosted at iCloud).
Clicking on the first link should hand-off the downloaded script to the Shortcut app and offer to install the script - repeat with each script.

I just followed the directions and everything works with one exception. The "What's my car Odometer" is reporting my miles in kilometers. The value is set to metric....what should I change this to so it reports in miles?
