So this wires one needs to go under the floor circuit 160 pin 2 wich its power from fuse box wire its Yellow Green .

Pin 1 its just Ground theres a area next to the instrument cluster where you can install it and theres one next to the dashboard chassis on the driver side.

Heres and example on where to harness will be installed behind the steering wheel control module.

Good news for anyone that has an XL version of our truck all you need its the Steering Control Module and add the harness that i made and enable it with forscan. The Steering Control Module comes with the Clockspring and switches. The one i was looking for with out the lane keep avoidence switch was on back order so i got this one and works great. Heres some pictures i will move them around later in order.

Is changing the climate controls part of this or just something else you are doing? Nice work!

That's quite the project. Why couldn't all of the parts needed be used from the donor vehicle? (the one where you got the steering wheel)

If the climate control isn't changed, how is the heated wheel turned on/off?

Would you mind going through the forscan settings you used/modified? I'm interested in knowing whether or not you're able to modify the duration and temperature. Thanks!

Fuse 160 15 amp . Shows that will only power when the ignition its on Run. The steering control module lets you adjust temperature on the heated element. This its how its from Ford Originaly made with the ones that came with the heated steering wheel from factory.

I noticed that my st steering wheel that I bought for my xl has extra wiring compared to yours at the bottom that plugs into underneath where the main bolt is for the steering wheel. I assumed it was just for the heated steering wheel and thought I wouldnt be able to use it so I cut the cables before even seeing what would happen if I plugged it in. Do you know what that plug is for?

Thats for the heated steering wheel . Thats the cable that feeds power and ground to the element.
