What trucks get the Cubby storage

Back in February, I got my MY23 Ford Maverick XL. It came with a DIBL. Last week I took it out and had the SIBL setup. Keep in mind the DIBL blocks access to the side panels and power access unless you cut it. So I was finally able to open the access panels on the side rear of the bed. And I saw a hole and the inside of the bed quarter panels. I called my friend who has a MY22 Maverick XLT and he had the cubby storage from the factory.

My question is the cubby storage ( NZ6Z-60286A72-A 1 ) is that standard on the XLT? Is it part of a package? I ordered a cubby and 2 extra screws but I was curious if they are stock on certain models or part of option.

The XLT comes with one on the passenger side and a few more tie downs.

Lariat comes with two cubbies, XLT comes with one, XL comes with zero. At least that was the situation for MY22, and I believe 23. I'm not sure if they've made changes for MY24.

The part number you mention fits both openings. I added two to my XL Hybrid a couple of months ago. I found the extra screws at Lowes.

The outlet is mounted on the driver's side cubby cover, which happens to be screwed in place over the cubby, limiting the function of the cubby - if it's even back there. Ford indicates it is...

That's only on the 2022 and 2023 without Luxury package. With the Luxury Package it'd have the 120V AC outlet and light. Since the Luxury Package is essentially standard on the '24MY they'll only have one cubby now.

I want to use mine to store my cargo net. Keeps it right there and handy when I need it.

I've had 2 lariats and never really considered that a usable cubby hole, but now I'm curious to unbolt it and see. I've found the grommet equally useless, but maybe I just lack inspiration.

It's easy enough to tell if the cubby is there without removing any screws. You should be able to see and/or feel it from below.

There isn't a cubby hiding behind the Lux Package outlet plate. It's a different assembly.

I bought one from the dealer for my XL. Cost me $70 Canadian, so probably $15 American

Yep this is correct. If you get the lux package on the XLT or Lariat there is nothing hiding behind the bed outlet and bed lamp. Like nothing it's exposed to what ever sprays up from the underside.

I confirmed this becasue I removed the outlet and lamp from the bed to try an help another member get part numbers. The back of the outlet was covered in grime.
