Rear fender wells.

There are inner fender wells with plastic push pins around the rear wheel wells I want to remove to rust proof behind the rear fenders ( common area where trucks seem to rust). Is there any trick to getting the push pins out without damaging them? Has anyone done this?

I just put RokBlock mudflaps on and there is a little slot/tab that a flathead screwdriver fits in the gently lift the center pin out.

thats pretty much it - gently remove the center pin and then you can pull the remainder of it out.

Its also a great area to run wiring from the backseat to the bed. There is a reachable grommet that passes through the bed wall thats nice and high up.

There is one pin that doesn't have the center pin. Anyone know how to remove those and if they are removable?

There are also some larger plastic button type push in retainer clips. When you remove these they will get ruined. New on Amazon Retainer Clip W708633-S300

Anyone know how to remove the one that doesn't have a center pin? I'm guessing it's one time use.
