Thanks for the tip about heat. I'm moving mine from rear door pocket to the bed. Years ago I saw another contractor have a can of expansion foam on his dashboard of his truck. It actually blew up and filled the entire cab. Needless to say it totaled the truck.
Thanks for the info for the engine cover. I like it. Probably going to order to complete a shipment from Amazon. Not so fond of the felt fender covers. Look to be dirt catchers and heat blockers.
Nice truck. I keep thinking I'll do the same but my '24 is a good fit for me. I
'd hate to part with it. Still get good compliments almost every day.

Bought a blank spare for backup. Took it to 3 different key cutters and they all looked at me like I had 3 heads. They all said it took a laser cutter, which none of them had. One guy said if a small mistake is made in the cut, it could lock down your truck. Then it's towed back to the...
Yea the clips on the sides will break easily. I was careful but still lost both at the first cabin filter removal. Had to insert short sheet metal screws to secure. A very poor design.
I went with the K & N also. Took it out of my '22 when I traded It in. Works fine in my '24. Kind of expensive when you figure in cleaner and treatment but I'll keep the Maverick a long time.
Thanks for the reminder. I'm sure mine's ready for a change. The last time I changed it, I broke off the plastic tabs and had to use sheet metal screws to hold the door closed.
I too am an advocate of Aero wiper blades. Installed about a year ago and still doing the job. You get a replacement set along with the full wiper blade set. $20 bucks and free shipping.
I'm not recommending Conti Pro Contacts. Hypsypops wanted to know my original tires on my '24 Mav, the ones I dumped at 11.000 miles in favor of the Defender 2's.
Put on Michelin Defender 2's about 2 months ago. 2024 XLT. Improved ride, which I expected, but was shocked when mileage went from 31.5 to 35.5 on the first road trip. Extended the warranty thru Granger Ford so this truck will last as long as me, hopefully. 80,000 mile tire warranty? Maybe...
I've had a '22 XLT and now a '24 XLT. Thought about a '25 until one parked next to me at Lowes. I just don't like the front end, in particular the grill. I extended my warranty with Ford through Granger, replaced the tires and I'm perfectly happy. I haven't seen anything I like any better.
