Yes, the 23,s came with a traditional key.

I used my wife's 2023 maverick recently and went to start it. Turned the key....no crank, dash indicators came on with no error code on screen. After several attempts with no crank it started normally, this is the first time this has happened. Anyone else experience this?

These services aren't due at 40k, unless your vehicle has been subjected to severe service. Sounds like your dealer is scamming you. We just had our 5k oil change at 44 k and dealer said nothing about this.

I also only wash ours once a year. Followed by a good coat of paste wax. Truck still looks new at 3 years old.

Do you really think Ford would recommend a maintenance schedule that would make it " implode" in 50 thousand miles? Thet would have went out of business a long time ago.

Early oil change not needed. Go by factory recommendation. No towing until factory recommendation.

Use what Ford recommends.

The things I tow with either my ram, or maverick will cut my mileage in half. Our boat is about 3000 lbs. I get lows 30,s hwy not towing, 15-16 towing. When towing with the ram i get about 20 not towing, about 10 mpg towing. This trailer looks way less that 3000 lbs ...unloaded. .so depending...
