  1. I bid you all Farewell

So as I approached one year of Maverick ownership, I began (just for fun) to build a Ranger Lariat online. After the build, I did an inventory search (Just out of curiosity) and found a 2025 Ranger Lariat 300 miles from my house in Virginia, in the Velocity Blue color that I love. Without ever...
  2. Pennsylvania Sold: Redline Hood Struts- FREE

Does anyone want a set of Redline hood struts? They are two weeks old and cost $100. Why am I giving them away and not selling them? Because I have disliked these things from the second I installed them so I cannot in good conscience ask someone to pay for them. If you want to give them a...

  4. Question on installing Redline hood struts

I recently ordered Redline hood struts and had two issues. I am looking for guidance on one of them. First, as far as Redline goes, I ordered the struts directly from Redline. Three minutes after placing the order, I had a tracking number. I had the part in hand three days later. And when I...
  5. AWD not available message

So if you look at the attached photo, I pulled forward in my driveway, with the intent of backing into my usual spot. When I went to reverse into the spot, my front wheels were fully on the snow (about six inches deep) and my back wheels were on dry pavement. My understanding of All Wheel...
  6. Grease fittings

On the Ford app under maintenance, it says to lubricate U joints “if there are grease fittings.” Does the Maverick have grease fittings? If so, how many?
  7. RDU Fluid changed at 2,000 miles

I posted the results of the PTU oil change last week so I figured I post the RDU oil change. Pretty much the same results: It was properly filled at the factory (About half a quart and and half out), old fluid was cloudy, and there was sludge on the magnet. The RDU is slightly easier since...
  8. RDU fluid change. Torque specs for drain and fill plugs?

As stated, I am changing my RDU oil soon. Does anyone know the torque specs for the drain and fill plugs?
  9. PTU OIL CHANGED

I just changed the PTU oil at 1800 miles. I know a lot of people reported that it was under filled but mine was perfect from factory: about 13 ounces drained and the same amounted added. The fluid was cloudy but I didn't see any particles like others have. The magnet on the drain plug had the...
  10. Pennsylvania Sold: Rival Skid Plate for sale $100

I'm selling a three week old Rival Skid plate that was on my truck for 500 miles. All installation hardware is included. I bought it solely to make oil changes easier but it does not do that unless you have one of those fancy oil drain plugs with a hose. I made a minor modification that you...
  11. Rival Skid plate: One Month Review

I installed a Rival skid plate about a month ago. Since it appears to be extremely popular (based on being on backorder), I just wanted to give an overview. PROS: * I have had skid plates on numerous vehicles and this has to be one of the best made pieces I ever purchased. It is solid...
  12. RIVAL - Excellent customer service

We humans are programmed to complain when we get poor service buy we are less likely to commend good service. Well, I believe the service I just received from Rival 4X4 deserves commending. I just received a Rival Skid plate that has been on backorder. Due to accidentally receiving an older...

Has anyone installed Mabett fender flares with the new Mabett Rear wheel splash guard covers? Can it be done using the stock clips? If so, which would go on first? There is really only one clip that will be affected by this. I hate putting tape on my paint but I do like the look of those...

  15. Any tricks to getting the dealer logo off the paint?

I've been attempting to get the dealer's name off my truck for a month now. I tried Goo Gone and Turtlewax label remover, while using a plastic scrapper. If you look at the photo, only a small part of the N came off. Does anyone know any methods to remove their sticker without damaging the paint?

  17. Installing a Rival skid plate on a 2025 Maverick XLT?

It appears there are a lot of changes to 2025 models. Before I order one, has anyone actually installed a Rival skid plate on a 2025 model? Their site says it will fit; I just want to confirm and also see if there were any model year related issues with the install. Thanks
  18. Thanks for having me
