Priority Code Changed from 10 to 12. Who changed it?

We ordered 7 Mavericks retail (company orders and employees). When they were ordered they were priority 10 (have it on the paper). Now they're priority 12.

Looked at all the dealers' orders today and they had priority 10s, with later order numbers than ours, that are the same build and getting scheduled. Dealer said Ford changed the priority code from 10 to 12 and they have no control over it.

Is it possibly true that Ford changed it on them? Everything I've read is priority code 10-19 is dealer set / dealer controlled.

Everything I've read also told me dealer sets within the 10-19 range for orders. I would suspect they needed to move you to have some room to get "friends and family" a higher priority. Maybe @fordvideoguy can verify.

That a recently changed in the past month or so. Dealers can now assign 3-9. Anything lower can only be done by Ford.

That makes no sense - why wouldn't dealers put all orders as 3 just like most put all orders as 10 ?

The priority code only matters at that particular dealership with their orders so if they are all assigned a 3 they may as well all be assigned a 19. No difference.

Ahh I see what your saying - I keep thinking something about this allocation/ordering/priority dumpster fire made sense.....

Dealer rep confirmed 10-19 were dealer codes. After saying it was Ford who changed it originally, then admitting they were dealer codes, the tune then became, "well I don't know who here changed it, but it wasn't me."

They changed it to 03 at my request. Not sure it matters anymore as the 2024 rollover was created. Also had another dealer say that Ford said not to use the 03-09, yet. So I'm not sure what to expect.
